Rich Mail Composer helps to create plain text mails into a well formatted rich and colorful mails.

Rich Mail Composer allows to set the text formatting feature like changing the font styles, font size, bold, italic with text color and text background color. This app also supports paragraph alignments for left, center and right alignment.

To insert TAB to any paragraph you can just tap on the indent button and the cursor position text is adjusted for the tab. Tapping on outdent will bring back the current text indent position to the earlier state.

To write a numbered or bulleted list, just tap on the respective button and you can start writing the text as properly formatted list and it is just that easy.

Tables? Yes, you can insert a tabular column is just an easy step by specifying the No. of rows and Columns from the popup and it will insert a table just right on the cursor position. Tap on any cell and start writing the text into the table.

Images, Select an image from the photo library, resize, select the area of image and press insert. The selected image is inserted right on the cursor position.

The mail drafts created can be saved into the device and the saved drafts can be retrieved back with the same format at later point of time. The formatting and the document settings are retrieved how it was saved. The document properties are classified into normal (560px), wide (640px) and free flow (100%) document layouts to support different device dimensions. The color chosen from the document properties will applied as the background color for the complete document.

The drafted document can be pushed to the native Mail Application and you can send the rich composed mail to your recipients.

Rich Mail Composer app helps to add some extra to your regular mail composer just in an easier and simplified way.

Bringing down Tamil Crossword apps from AppStore

I just decided to bring down Tamil Crossword apps from AppStore. There isn’t many people subscribing it and doesn’t make valuable sense to keep in AppStore. This is quite a hard decision as I was very exited while releasing this app and thought people would love tamil crosswords to play.

We are happy to announce our next lined up product Tamil Crossword for iPhone available on AppStore. We know well, as you all would love to solve paper based crosswords published in newspapers. Tamil Crossword would bring in more fun and excitement when you play it on your iPhone, iPod and iPad devices. This application supports solving crossword puzzles in ACROSS(இடமிருந்து வலம்) and DOWN (மேலிருந்து கீழ்) direction similar to commonly followed crosswords available.

Submitted an update for Tamil Calendar app for approval. In month view I have included a marker to indicate the important days. This feature was in back of my mind since beginning and couple of users requested the same.

Planning to include some additions later this year.

Some info about the App:

Tamil learning for KIDS iPhone application is an educational tool help your kids to teach Tamil in an easy way to read and write. The application has a writing tool your children can practice to write tamil vowels and consonants. The screen is very similar to the chalk board in which kid can trace over the tamil characters underneath impressed with guided arrow which will show the direction of flow the kid has to follow to practice. The drawn character over the chalk board can be replayed to see if the kid followed the correct method how the arrows are sequenced. The kid can easily practice the vowels and the consonants choosing from the set of character grid to the actual character screen to practice the selected character.

The application bundled with 2 different set of puzzle type games for kids to learn words. Arranging jumbled word, choose the correct answer from the given choices are the types of puzzles any kid can enjoy playing it.

Puzzle type 1 – A picture and jumbled characters are laid on the screen and the user has to arrange the character in the proper order. The questions are randomized every time the user starts a puzzle. The In-app purchase add-on contains more than 100 set of puzzles which are presented in a randomized order the user will find it challenging and more fun to learn.

Puzzle type 2 – The correct option should be selected from the given different image based options. The order of options and the sequence are randomized every time, the user has to concentrate to solve a puzzle. Every puzzle options are grouped in a way it all come under the same group so that the user can relate each puzzle. Like a wild animal is asked to select from the 3 different wild animal images.

My next iPhone application Tamil Calendar is completed and submitted for approval. A simple daily sheet tamil calendar with most of the information seen in actual tamil daily calendar sheet. I will setup a separate page for the Tamil Calendar app once it is approved.
